Gautham Prasad (The Circus Kids Create, CircusYoga) was born in India and raised in America. His interest in mime began at an early age, watching cartoons such as The Pink Panther and Tom and Jerry, which soon led to an interest in silent comedians like Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. He attended Northwestern University to study acting where he discovered the Northwestern University Mime Company. He studied mime with Bud Beyer, Marcel Marceau, and Maximilien Decroux. His interests turned to clowning. He took a workshop with Dick Monday and Tiffany Reilly which led him to Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey circus, where he was a clown for two years. He has since worked with Sue Morrison and David Shiner. Gautham is also a certified Ashtanga yoga instructor and currently teaches at several studios in New York City.
