Lilly Blue (CircusYoga, The Circus Kids Create) has been teaching
circus arts, physical theater and a wide range of personal storytelling
techniques to children, adolescents and adults for 15 years. Trained as
a Visual Artist and receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the
University of Tasmania, Australia, Lilly utilizes a wide range of
creative disciplines to address social, emotional and educational
concerns.
Lilly has completed Levels 1 & 2 of the CircusYoga Teacher Training and continues to be an inspiring force and creative collaborator in the development of CircusYoga and its worldwide community.
Lilly resides in Syndey, Australia and in New York City (when we can lure her away from her gorgeous homeland). She has recently developed a new program for teenage girls called Real heArt. Originally created to address serious incidents of relational aggression between girls in a local school, Lilly has designed a pre-emptive program that celebrates the joyous and healthy aspects of young women and helps them develop skills for relating to each other and the world.
Lilly worked as Director of Creative
Development at Nesheemah Yoga Center, NJ, implementing yoga inspired
creative programs and teaching dynamic learning systems to educators
and other professionals working in child related fields. She began
practicing yoga and meditation in India and continues her practice
today with deep gratitude and joy. Lilly remains passionate
about exploring existing educational structures and maintains a heart
felt commitment to developing new parameters for learning and
expression. Lilly's work with Kevin and Erin Maile O'Keefe is always
rich and deeply rewarding, reminding her of the profound importance of
truth and play in her work.
